Beth Mole of ArsTechnica writes about the growth in cases of Omicron as well as the number of hospitalizations. FDA commissioner, Dr. Janet Woodcock, offered the perspective that prior approaches were not responsible for the Omicron wave, the subtext being perhaps that not following science based approaches was what was responsible.
