From the Pan American Health Organization we have their weekly update on COVID.
"At the subregional level, COVID-19 cases increased in three subregions (North America, Caribbean, and Atlantic Ocean Islands, and Central America) while they decreased in South America during EW 16. In the same period, while Central America reported a 14% increase in weekly deaths, the trends declined in the remaining three subregions."
