This is one of our favorite properties in that it is affordable, small, relatively luxurious, and checks most of our boxes for COVID safety. Located in Fort George area of Belize City, the property is situated in the heart of the historical district not far from the south-east point. This hotel has only 16 guest rooms, some of which can be adjoining, and enables guests to get their rooms without encountering any indoor air. The low number of rooms means that you will not encounter large numbers of disparate parties which can help to limit your exposure. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated so the 72 hour layover time between bookings may be overkill - but it means that when you get there, your room is well and truly aired out. The hotel does have a bar/restaurant, but it also has room service and in-room microwaves and coffee makers for those wishing to avoid extra mingling. Other restaurants can be found nearby. And best of all, it's close to many activities including the beach.
